	CYRANO JONES PLAYED BY: Stanley Adams SPECIES: Human Federation trader and galactic nuisance. Jones' specialty was dealing and selling in tribbles. After contaminating Space-Station K-7 with over a million tribbles, he was ordered by Captain Kirk to pick them all up. After stealing the genetically engineered Glommer from the Klingons, a natural tribble predator, he was able to leave K-7 and genetically engineer his own tribbles that don't breed, just grow fat.
	CAPTAIN KOLOTH PLAYED BY: James Doohan SPECIES: Klingon Captain of the I.K.S. Groth. Captain Koloth chased trader Cyrano Jones after Jones sold his tribbles on a Klingon planet and stole the Glommer. The Groth was equipped with the prototype Klingon stasis weapon, which he used against the U.S.S. Enterprise. After disabling the Federation ship, Koloth was prepared to trade the lives of the crew for the return of the Glommer.
	KORAX PLAYED BY: David Gerrold SPECIES: Klingon First officer of the I.K.S. Groth. He had instigated a fight between crew members of the Groth and crewmembers from the Enterprise (as well as crewmembers from the future U.S.S. Defiant) aboard Space-Station K-7. He later irritated Captain Koloth by blasting a giant tribble colony causing hundreds of tribbles to pile onto his captain's head.
