extraordinaire, Harry Mudd's first encounter with the
U.S.S. Enterprise came when the Starfleet ship
rescued him and his female cargo from an asteroid field.
When the crew encountered him again a year later, he had
become leader of a group of androids, whom he used as
his servants. When the androids rebelled, the crew of
the Enterprise saved him once again. Escaping
from the planet, which he named "Mudd", Harry stole a
space-vehicle and attempted to sell, what he thought
were phoney "love crystals" to miners on the planet
Motherlode. Arrested again by the Enterprise,
Harry stole a shuttlecraft and took Nurse Chapel hostage
on a seemingly lifeless planet. Little did he know that
mysterious rock creatures inhabited the planet. It was
up to Captain Kirk to once again save Harry's hide. |
