	THEELA PLAYED BY: Majel Barrett SPECIES: Taurean Leader of the Taurean women. Her people had come from a dying world to Taurus II to attempt to rebuild their culture, but found the planet depleted the life force of the people. The women were able to develop a natural secretion against the sapping force, but it also influenced the males' emotional senses, utlimately draining them so the women could survive. She led her people to absorb the life out of all ships that passed near her planet. She attempted to use the male members of the Enterprise crew for the same purpose, but, when the Federation ship agreed to help them find a new world where they could live normally again, she allowed the crew to live.
	DARA PLAYED BY: Nichelle Nichols SPECIES: Taurean Theela's aide. She assisted the Taurean women in summoning the Enterprise to Taurus II and helped subdue Captain Kirk's landing party.
	ENSIGN CARVER PLAYED BY: James Doohan SPECIES: Human Security officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise assigned to Captain Kirk's landing party on Taurus II. Carver, like the rest of the party, was subject to the life draining force of the planet and the women. He was restored to youth by use of the Enterprise transporter.
	SECURITY OFFICER DAVISON PLAYED BY: Nichelle Nichols SPECIES: Human Security officer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. When the male crewmembers became incapacitated, Lieutenant Uhura made her acting chief of security and led an all-female security team to Taurus II to locate Captain Kirk's landing party.
