	LUCIEN PLAYED BY: James Doohan SPECIES: Megan Member of the "magical" race of Megans who visited the planet Earth early in human history, most notably Salem, Massachusetts. Although the people of the Earth distrusted the Megans, Lucien always cared for the human race and considered them his friends. When he was sentenced to eternal limbo, Captain Kirk was willing to sacrifice his own life to save Lucien.
	MEGAN PROSECUTOR PLAYED BY: Ed Bishop SPECIES: Megan Prosecuted Lucien and the crew of the Enterprise for the hardships that the Megan race endured while visiting Earth in the 1600s. He had condemned Lucien to an eternity of limbo, but was impressed by Captain Kirk's willingness to save him. With Kirk's act of selflessness, the Prosecutor was convinced that the human race had changed for the better.
