Roger C. Carmel also portrayed Harry Mudd
in the classic episodes
"Mudd's Women" and "I, Mudd." |

|
|
Obviously, Nurse Chapel hasn't lost her
crush on Mr. Spock as demonstrated in the classic
episodes
"The Naked Time" and
"Amok Time." |

Stephen Kandel wrote both original Harry
Mudd episodes as well. |

This marks the final on-screen appearance
of Harry Mudd. The character was considered for
reappearance in "Star
Trek IV: The Voyage Home", but didn't pan out, as
well as the first season of "Star
Trek: The Next Generation." However, Roger C. Carmel
passed away in late 1986 when plans for "The Next
Generation" were set in motion. Harry Mudd eventually
"re-appears" in several video games, including "Star
Trek 25th Anniversary" for the Nintendo
Entertainment System and "Star
Trek: Starfleet Academy - Starship Bridge Simulator"
for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. |

|
|
First instance of Dr. McCoy
manning a bridge station, in this case, the science
station. The only other time McCoy would ever man a
console would be in "Star
Trek III: The Search For Spock." |
|
|
|
The Starfleet "Key Cards"
which Harry Mudd steals from Nurse Chapel are never seen
again. |

More character development
for Lieutenant Arex is seen here as he strums an alien
lute with his three hands. |
|
|
|
The giant rock-monsters
were part of William Shatner's original climax for "Star
Trek V: The Final Frontier." |
|
|
|
In an animation error,
Captain Kirk is seen wearing a red shirt when the rock
monsters are fighting each other. |
